A man was hospitalized after a shooting in South Shore Thursday afternoon, according to Chicago police.
The man, 39, was on the street in the 7700 block of South Kingston Avenue about 5:44 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up alongside him and someone inside shot at him, police said. He was shot in the right arm and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
No one is in custody.
