The internet has hailed the undisputable brotherly love between two siblings who melted hearts online, despite being born 13 years apart.
Kailee Fisher, of Salt Lake City, Utah, captured the heartwarming moment when her eldest son, Axxton reunited with his youngest brother, Tage, after spending eight days apart. As soon as the 13-year-old went to greet his sibling, Tage’s eyes lit up with joy and he broke out into a huge smile.
While Fisher knew that Tage, 9 months, would be delighted to see his big brother again, she told Newsweek via TikTok that she certainly “didn’t expect him to get as excited” as that. Seeing the bond between the pair left her fighting back tears, as she loves witnessing the love they share despite their differences in age.
“My son and my other child had been on a trip with their grandparents in Hawaii, and when they got home, Axxton wanted to go get Tage up from his nap since it had been so long,” Fisher said.
“It made me teary eyed watching him smile so much and acknowledge Axxton with that much excitement while still being so little. Tage is obsessed with his siblings, and I decided I wanted to see how he reacted. So, I hurried and pulled out my camera and managed to catch it all on video.”

After capturing such a special moment between the brothers, Fisher posted it on TikTok (@theekailee) with the intention of sharing it with close friends and family at first. However, the clip went viral and has now amassed over 1.6 million views and more than 158,700 likes online.
The overwhelming attention that the viral video has generated is beyond anything that Fisher could have imagined. It’s garnered so much support online, and Fisher is proud to show people the love that’s still possible between siblings even when they’re not close in age.
For any other parents who are concerned about having children several years apart, Fisher insists it’s nothing to worry about as “it always turns out so beautifully.”
She told Newsweek: “I was very nervous to have the age gap. Axxton and the baby are 13 years apart, and my second oldest is 11 years older than the baby. I wasn’t sure how it was going to be starting over and having older kids with a baby, what with the attention being directed towards the infant more than the older kids at the beginning.
“I was worried that the older kids wouldn’t be able to bond with the baby as much, but this video clearly shows that isn’t the case. I think a lot of people get worried about big age gaps, but they honestly are the best.”
The relationship that the two brothers have has melted plenty of hearts on social media. Since the video went viral, it’s gained over 1,300 comments on TikTok, as many people praised the undeniable love between them.
