Kevin Hart's plant-based restaurant closes all locations without warning

Comedian Kevin Hart’s plant-based fast-food chain appears to have ceased all operations this week.

Hart House, which operated four locations in the Los Angeles area, shut down on Tuesday, as reported by Eater.

The move comes just over a year after the based chain opened a restaurant with a drive thru at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Highland Avenue in Hollywood, joining other locations near LAX, University Park and Monrovia.

In a statement to Eater, Hart House CEO Andy Hooper thanked everyone who was part of the Hart House journey.

“The response to the product has been incredible, and we thank our committed team, our customers, and our community partners for helping make the change we all craved, and for their unwavering support of Hart House,” he said.
