With jaunts to France, St. Louis, and China in the rear, Celtics star Jayson Tatum is back home preparing for the upcoming season.

His latest stop was Boston College, where he worked out and met with the women’s basketball team Saturday morning.

“Had a Champ stop by today,” Boston College women’s basketball tweeted. “Great to see you, @jaytatum0!”

Assistant coach DeNesha Stallworth expressed her appreciation, tweeting: “Thank you @jaytatum0 for being kind to our players! It’s a great day to be an eagle.”

Tatum shared the team’s tweet and added the fingers-crossed emoji two times.

The defending champion Celtics open training camp Friday, Sept. 27.

Boston College, coming off a 14-19 season, plays its first game Monday, Nov. 4.
