ATCEMS: Pedestrian struck by vehicle on South Congress

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin-Travis County EMS responded to a crash in south Austin after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, the agency said on social media Thursday.

ATCEMS medics responded to the crash shortly after 10 p.m. on South Congress Avenue and Lightsey Road. Medics reported CPR was in progress for one adult.

Medics transported one adult to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with “critical, life-threatening injuries,” according to ATCEMS.

No other details were available Friday.
