The rock band Green Day briefly paused their show in Detroit on Wednesday night after a drone was spotted overhead.

Videos posted to social media show the band playing their song “Longview” at Comerica Park, when a crewmember runs onto the stage and alerts the band of something, reports The Midwesterner. After that, the band runs off the stage abruptly pausing the show.

This happened at around 8:50 p.m. reports The Detroit News.

No information was provided to fans except for an announcement on the stage’s large screen that read “Show Pause. Please, standby for details,” according to Billboard.

After about 10 minutes, the band returned to the stage and resumed their performance.

“How you doing?”Armstrong asked the crowd according to the outlet. “We’re gonna pick up where we left off.” He then asked fans to put away their cell phones: “Pull ’em out later. Let’s be here right now.”

Police told The Detroit News that the concert was paused after a man was seen flying a drone into the venue. He was questioned by authorities but not arrested.

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration is now handling the case.

“The FAA investigates all reports of potentially hazardous drone operations,” the agency told CBS News. “Although the agency does not have criminal prosecution authority, drone operators who endanger other aircraft or people on the ground can face fines that exceed $30,000. In addition, the FAA can suspend or revoke drone operators’ pilot certificates.”

In a now-deleted post, Green Day took to X, formerly Twitter, to address the incident.

“Detroit! Sorry for the delay in the show tonight, Stadium security had us clear the stage while they dealt with a potential safety issue. DPD quickly resolved the situation, and we were able to continue. Thanks for understanding.”

Green Day is currently on The Saviors Tour, which also includes The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and The Linda Lindas. The tour is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band’s album “Dookie” and the 20th anniversary of “American Idiot.”
