USC legend Reggie Bush is adding another honor to his resume.

The star running back, who recently had his 2005 Heisman Trophy returned, will be inducted into this year’s class of the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame.

Bush, alongside fellow honorees LaMichael James of Oregon and Mark Dantonio of Michigan State, will be honored on the field during the 136th Rose Parade and during the game on Jan. 1, 2025, as well as at a private ceremony on Dec. 31, 2024.

  • LaMichael James Rose Bowl
  • Mark Dantonio Rose Bowl

All three capped off successful seasons with historic performances in the Granddaddy of Them All:

  • Bush played in two Rose Bowls, 2004 and 2006, leading the Trojans in rushing in the first game with 83 yards and racking up 177 yards, including a 26-yard fourth-quarter touchdown run, in 2006.
  • Dantonio, the winningest coach in Michigan State history, led his Spartans to a win over Stanford in the 100th edition of the Rose Bowl in 2013, the programs first appearance in 25 years.
  • James ran for 159 yards and a touchdown as Oregon downed Wisconsin in the 2012 Rose Bowl.

These additions bring the number of Rose Bowl Hall of Fame honorees to 146.

“Inductees are honored with a permanent plaque that includes their name and year of induction at The Court of Champions at the Rose Bowl Stadium, forever cementing their legacy with that of The Granddaddy of Them All,” the Pasadena Tournament of Roses said in a news release.
