CTA employee shot multiple times Tuesday night in Rogers Park neighborhood – Chicago Tribune

A 51-year-old CTA employee was wounded Tuesday night in a drive-by shooting on the North Side in the Rogers Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.

Shortly before 9:15 p.m., the victim was outside in the 7500 block of North Paulina Street when someone traveling in a white SUV open fired and fled the scene. The victim, identified as a CTA employee by police suffered a wound to the chest, and was taken in serious condition to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.

No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
