The body of a missing runner was found five days after she vanished while on a jog in her Florida neighborhood.

Arielle Valdes, 21, left her home in Fort Myers to go for a run around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, sparking a huger appeal from her loved ones when she failed to return home.

Her remains were found in the nearby Caloosahatchee River on Monday, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said, stating that there was no initial suggestion of foul play.

She was training for a marathon and had been running long distances, her sister, Isabella Hergert, posted on Facebook shortly after she failed to return home.
