Southern California driver crashes into Jack in the Box restaurant

A driver is OK after crashing into a fast food restaurant in Los Angeles County early Sunday morning.

The crash was reported at about 1:20 a.m., according to stringer service RMG News. Images from the scene showed a white SUV that collided head on with a Jack in the Box restaurant located at 9965 Lower Azusa Road in Temple City.

Witnesses said that the driver was cut off on the road before careening into the side of the restaurant.

The driver, who was unidentified, was treated at the scene for minor injuries. It’s unclear if anyone was inside of the Jack in the Box at the time of the crash, but no other injuries were reported.

No additional details were immediately made available.
