Austin Police say man allegedly robbed multiple game rooms

AUSTIN (KXAN)- A suspect in multiple game room robberies has been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, according to an Austin Police Department arrest warrant.

APD charged 28-year-old Isiah Dwayne Turner currently faces six felony counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, according to Travis County court records. KXAN has reached out to Turner’s lawyers for comment.

Just before 1 p.m. on on July 5, APD officers responded to the 5300 block of Cameron Road after a 9-1-1 caller reported a robbery at a game room.

The report claims that Turner allegedly entered the business with a black handgun, shot a victim and left the scene.

The APD detective said they carefully compared and matched the robbery with other game-room robberies committed between June 6 and July 16, according to the affidavit.
