Man injured in Hyde Park shooting

A man was injured after a shooting in Hyde Park Friday night, according to University of Chicago Police.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 5200 block of South Shore Drive about 7:50 p.m. and found a person who had been shot, university police said. The person’s condition wasn’t known, and they were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center.

University police are investigating. No one is in custody.
