A new Avengers-themed retail location, restaurants and more are coming to Downtown Disney, theme park officials announced Friday.
The entire outdoor shopping district is undergoing renovations as officials continue revamping the location. Initial news of the project was announced at Destination D23, a Disney fan convention, in 2021.
Here are the new establishments coming to Downtown Disney:

A boutique celebrating trend-forward fashions for Disneyland fans and offering a stylish collection of apparel, accessories, and jewelry will open this winter. (Disneyland Resort) -
Marceline’s Confectionery is being reimagined and expanded into the Disney Wonderful World of Sweets. The shop, home to fan-favorite treats and sweets like churro toffee and caramel apples, will open this winter. (Disneyland Resort) -

Avengers Reserve: Coming this winter, a new shopping location featuring collectibles, apparel, accessories, toys and comics themed to fan-favorite characters and storylines will open to guests.

Disney Wonderful World of Sweets: Marceline’s Confectionery is being reimagined and expanded into the Disney Wonderful World of Sweets. The shop, home to fan-favorite treats and sweets like churro toffee and caramel apples, will open this winter.
In the meantime, a Marceline’s Confectionery cart will be available to guests visiting the shopping district.
Kawaii Slime Cart: Kawaii Slime, home to slime concoctions and toys, will be coming to Downtown Disney this fall.
Steakhouse and BBQ Restaurants: Disney shared more details about the steakhouse restaurant and barbecue eatery slated to take over the former location of Tortilla Jo’s. Disney is working with Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori to bring the restaurants to life. The steakhouse will be a full-service restaurant offering prime cuts of beef, chops, fresh seafood, sandwiches and more.
The adjacent barbecue spot will be a quick-service restaurant offering pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked wings, and more. Guests will also have access to an outdoor bar.
The Carnaby Tavern: More details about the new Earl of Sandwich location currently being developed were also shared. The sandwich shop’s new building will host a restaurant on the ground floor and The Carnaby Tavern, an all-new table-service concept, on the second floor.
“The Carnaby Tavern is being designed as an homage to the swinging ‘60s “British Invasion” pop and rock bands from the U.K. The restaurant will feature a patio with an indoor/outdoor full-service bar,” Disney said in a blog post.
The current Earl of Sandwich location on the east side of Downtown Disney will close in 2025, so construction can start at the new Porto’s Bakery location.
Last year, Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock said the Downtown Disney transformation would take 18 months to complete. The 18-month timeline means officials hope to complete construction shortly before Thanksgiving.
