Packers QB Jordan Love looking to become 'new owner' of Bears

US

GREEN BAY – Jordan Love is already talking trash.

The Packers quarterback recently visited Green Bay West High School’s football practice to announce his Hands of Love Foundation’s newest initiative – 10ve for Cleats. Every time Love scores a touchdown this season, he will donate new cleats to a Wisconsin youth sports team.

After discussing the launch, Love held a Q & A with students and his answers to a couple questions might rub Bears fans the wrong way.

“Favorite team to play against? That’s a good question,” noted Love. “I’ll say the Bears.”

“Are you looking to become the new owner of the Bears or what?”

“Oh yes. Definitely,” Love replied with a smile.

The question is in reference to the comments made by Love’s predecessor, Aaron Rodgers, who famously yelled out ‘I own you!’ after scoring one of his 64 touchdowns against the Bears.

Love fared well in his first two games against his division rival, completing 42 of his 59 passes for 561 yards and 5 TDs without any interceptions.

The Bears don’t play Green Bay until Week 11, when the Packers come to Soldier Field on November 17th to face Caleb Williams for the first time.
