WCSO investigating 'suspected overdose death'

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a “suspected overdose death” that happened Monday, WCSO said in a news release Tuesday.

The WCSO Organized Crime Unit responded to Aster Way in Round Rock and found a 34-year-old man dead, the release said.

While officials were searching the residence, they found “suspected fentanyl, ketamine, marijuana, and THC,” the release said.

No other details were released, and the case remained under investigation Tuesday, according to WCSO.
