Burglars strike Park Ridge sneaker and streetwear shop for a third time

US

PARK RIDGE, Ill. — For the third time this year, a sneaker and streetwear shop in Park Ridge fell victim to burglars.

Park Ridge police revealed surveillance video on Wednesday showing an early morning smash-and-grab at the burglarized HQ Sneakers and Streetwear shop at 137 N. Northwest Highway.

Surveillance video shared with WGN-TV showed the moments a stolen SUV rammed through the front of the store. Shortly after that, a white Dodge Durango pull-up was seen, with several offenders jumping out and grabbing large amounts of items, including shoes and more.

The unidentified group escaped in the Durango. No one is in custody.

Two prior incidents occurred in January of this year when the store first opened.

Anyone with information should call police at (847) 318-5256.
