Man shot, wounded inside North Side restaurant

CHICAGO — A 22-year-old man was shot inside a restaurant on the city’s North Side.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. Monday in the 5600 block of North Clark Street in the Andersonville neighborhood.

Police said the man was approached by a group of males while inside the restaurant. One of the males started to argue with the 22-year-old and then took out a gun.

According to police, the offender shot at the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.

The 22-year-old man was shot in the thigh and transported to St. Francis Hospital in fair condition.

No one is in custody. Area Three Detectives are investigating.
