Austin Police searching for missing woman last seen in Spicewood

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department is searching for a missing woman last seen in Spicewood last week.

Brenna Swindell, 29, was last seen around 10:20 p.m. on Aug. 22 at Poodies Hilltop Bar, located in the 22300 block of State Hwy. 71. Police said she was at the bar with her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry.

Neither Swindell nor Guidry have been seen since, and both of their phones have bene turned off as of Aug. 23. Police said Swindell hasn’t been in contact with any of her family or friends, adding the department is concerned about her safety.

Swindell is 5’10” and roughly 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes as well as tattoos on both of her arms. Police said she could be traveling in a white 2022 Kia Carnival with the Texas license plate VFS 7528. That vehicle was last seen in Colorado Springs, Colorado or Denver.

Those who see Swindell are asked to call 9-1-1 or APD’s Missing Person’s Unit at 512-974-5250.
