CPD officers shot at during investigation on South Side

CHICAGO – Chicago police officers were shot at Sunday morning during an investigation on the city’s South Side.

Police said officers were conducting a follow-up investigation just before 10 a.m. in the 7600 block of South Dante Avenue in Grand Crossing when at least one person fired shots toward them.

No one was injured and no arrests have been made.

Area Two Detectives are investigating.
