Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department are in pursuit of a driver suspected of stealing a car Thursday night.
The suspect, reportedly behind the wheel of an Alpha Romeo, was leading officers from LAPD’s North Hollywood Division in chase on the 101 Freeway at Melrose a short time after the pursuit was initiated.
The driver was hitting high speeds and weaving in and out of traffic as he transitioned onto the northbound 110 Freeway, with police in chase both on the road and from the sky.
