One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after they crashed into a Panera Bread in Greenwood Village on Thursday.
South Metro Fire Rescue and Greenwood Village Police Department responded to the fast-casual bakery at 5910 S. Holly St. after a vehicle crashed into the building, fire officials said in a post on X.
Photos of the crash show damage to the building’s windows and brick exterior. South Metro officials determined the crash did not damage the building’s structural integrity.
South Metro officials initially reported no one was injured in the crash, but the driver was evaluated on scene and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Update: No loss of structural integrity to the building. After further evaluation the driver was transported with minor injuries. Building will be turned over to building inspector. pic.twitter.com/44irh5Y4v8
