The NYPD is asking for the public’s help to identify two men wanted in connection with a burglary at St. John’s University in Queens, where they allegedly absconded with some unusual loot.

The incident took place on Tuesday evening, when the suspects entered a building at 168-10 Goethals Ave. without permission, police said. St. John’s officials said the burglars stole a small ceremonial sword and a bullhorn from an office in the Athletics Department belonging to St. John’s basketball coach Rick Pitino.

“The University shared surveillance footage with the NYPD and is assisting in the ongoing investigation,” university spokesperson Brian Browne said in a statement.

The alleged burglars may have also made off with some of the coach’s in-office alcohol stash.

“Really upset!” Pitino posted on social media. “Taking my memorabilia is one thing, but the 1985 6L Petrus Pomerol has me livid!!!”

The two men fled the scene on a moped, heading west on Union Turnpike, according to the NYPD. No one was injured during the break-in, officials said.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as they work to identify and locate the suspects.
