GLENVIEW, Ill. — A bicyclist died Wednesday after he was struck last week in Glenview.
On Aug. 15, Glenview police responded to the 800 block of Milwaukee Avenue on the report of a crash involving a bicycle and a 2017 Toyota Avalon.
Police believe the Avalon was traveling in the southbound lanes when a bicyclist, later identified as Baldomero Martinez, 39, turned into southbound lanes from the median.
Martinez was transported in critical condition and died at Lutheran General on Wednesday afternoon.
