If you’ve ever wanted to live in a legendary 1980s horror movie home, look no further than the most haunted of them all. The Simi Valley home where 1982’s “Poltergeist” was filmed has hit the market for the first time in 45 years.

The 2,300-square-foot detached, single-family home at 4267 Roxbury Street is listed for $1.17 million.

“This home is well-loved by its original owners and is ready to welcome a new family, without the ghostly antics,” according to the listing from realtor Lauren Murdock of Equity Union.

Although spirits may no longer reside there, the four-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom home boasts a three-car garage, jacuzzi and swimming pool. At nearly 16,000 square feet, it is the largest lot in the neighborhood, according to Zillow.

“This house is clean,” Zillow’s listing says, referencing a memorable line from the hit film.

“Poltergeist,” directed by Tobe Hooper and produced by Steven Spielberg, revolves around the Freeling family, who live in a suburban home that becomes haunted by a malevolent spirit that abducts their 5-year-old daughter. It is generally regarded as one of the greatest horror films of all time.

“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in a home with a story, minus the spooks,” the MLS’s listing says.
