The brother of “Vanderpump Rules” and Broadway star Ariana Madix was allegedly caught with suitcases stuffed with more than 100 lbs. of weed while en route to another country.
Jeremy Madix was gearing up to board a flight from Florida to Frankfurt, Germany on Feb. 16 when he was busted along with an alleged accomplice, according to court documents newly obtained by TMZ.
Madix and Jonah Ahad were stopped by security at Orlando International Airport while Customs and Border Protection agents searched their three bags.
Two of those suitcases, which belonged to Madix, were packed with 64 bags of marijuana, weighing a whopping 76 lbs., according to court documents. The third suitcase allegedly contained 31 bags of weed, which weighed 37 lbs.
In total, the pair were allegedly carrying 113 lbs. of pot.
Both Madix and Ahad declined to speak with detectives without their lawyers present. They were eventually booked on arrest warrants and charged with felony trafficking in cannabis.
Ahad was arrested in May while Madix, who has appeared on “Vanderpump Rules” alongside his reality star sister, was taken into custody earlier this month.
It’s unclear why they were not taken into custody on the spot.
