Cops arrested a man and woman wanted for viciously beating an 82-year-old woman, stomping on her after hurling her to a Bronx sidewalk, police announced Friday.

William Ballinger and Tammie Moore, both 32, were cuffed Wednesday on charges of second- and third-degree assault for the unprovoked beatdown that hospitalized their geriatric victim, cops said.

The elderly victim was collecting empty deposit bottles along E. 212st St. near White Plains Road in Williamsbridge around 7:05 p.m. when the pair attacked, according to police.

Ballinger and Moore hit the woman repeatedly before slamming her onto the concrete sidewalk, where they proceeded to stomp on her body, cops said.

EMS rushed the woman to Jacobi Hospital for injuries to her face and hip, according to police and the victim’s daughter.

The victim told police she’d never interacted with the pair before their sudden and unprovoked assault, cops said.

Ballinger and Moore have 18 arrests between them, according to a law enforcement source.

Police first slapped cuffs on Ballinger for criminal possession of a firearm in 2012. He’s been arrested 8 times not counting Wednesday’s bust, with charges including robbery, DWI and drug possession, the source said.

Moore was cuffed 10 times in 2020, all for petit larceny, cops said.
