Jackson has one catch this preseason, a 38-yard touchdown from Joe Milton.
Patriots receiver JaQuae Jackson left Thursday’s preseason game against the Eagles with a leg injury sustained in the fourth quarter.
Jackson left the field in a cart. Patriots defensive lineman Deatrich Wise Jr. threw a towel over his face.
The Patriots quickly announced that Jackson would be out for the remainder of the game with a leg injury.
The 6-foot-1, 184-pound rookie receiver has one catch this preseason, but it was a memorable one. He scored on the 38-yard touchdown pass that Joe Milton threw in the opener against the Panthers.
The injury occurred on an incomplete pass from Joe Milton III that was nearly picked off. It was Jackson’s only target of the game.
The Patriots signed Jackson as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers during the offseason. He was originally signed by the Falcons, but Atlanta cut him in June.
Jackson spent his senior season at Rutgers after playing three seasons at Division II California University of Pennsylvania. He caught 22 passes for 361 yards in 2023.
