Police said they found an 11-month-old girl dead in a Bronx apartment Wednesday night and are investigating the circumstances around her death.

Officers found Jazeli Mirabal unconscious and unresponsive at around 7:45 p.m., after responding to a 911 call at her building on West Farms Road and Boone Avenue in Crotona Park.

Paramedics took Mirabal to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln where she was pronounced dead.
