SAN JOSE – Police on Tuesday announced the arrests of two 19-year-old men and a 17-year-old boy in connection with a gang-related shooting two months ago in San Jose.
A fourth suspect – another 19-year-old man – remains at large, according to San Jose police spokesperson Stacie Shih.
The shooting was reported just after 10 p.m. on June 7 at a restaurant in the 5500 block of Cottle Road, near the intersection of Blossom Hill Road and Monterey Road.
The suspects started an altercation with the victim, who was eating with his wife and infant child. Shih said one of the suspects drew a gun and fired a single shot at the victim.
No one was injured in the shooting.
The suspects left the scene before officers arrived. Detectives, however, identified all four of them, as well as obtained arrest and search warrants.
A pair of handguns with high-capacity magazines was recovered during a search of one suspect’s home, according to Shih.
Two of the three adult suspects were arrested and booked into Santa Clara County jail on charges of gang-related assault with a deadly weapon and child endangerment. The boy was arrested and booked into juvenile hall on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
All four suspects are residents of San Jose.
