Woman injured after argument leads to stabbing on North Side

CHICAGO — Police are searching for two people who stabbed a woman during an argument on the city’s North Side early Saturday morning.

According to Chicago police, the incident unfolded around 3 a.m. in the 4400 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive, near Montrose Beach in Uptown.

Officers said a 20-year-old woman got into an argument with two other people before the altercation turned physical.

Officers said the two other people were both female, but their ages were unknown.

The two people then battered the woman and stabbed her in the back several times.

The victim took herself to the hospital where she was listed in serious condition.

Officers say no arrests have been made and an investigation into the stabbing is now underway.
