Police seek help in search for teen girl missing for nearly 2 months

CHICAGO — A search is underway for a teen girl who Chicago police say has been missing from the city’s West Side for nearly two months.

According to police, 13-year-old Marrayalean Salgado has been missing from the 2400 block of South Spaulding Avenue in Little Village since June 13, and has not been contacted since.

Officers said the teen girl, who stands 5-foot-2 and weighs around 180 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes.

Salgado was last spotted wearing a black sweater and black pants and police said she is also known to wear two gold chains.

According to police, 13-year-old Marrayalean Salgado has been missing from the 2400 block of South Spaulding Avenue in Little Village since June 13, and has not been contacted since.

Police did not provide details on the teen’s last known whereabouts.

Authorities notified the public about Salgado’s disappearance in a news release on Sunday afternoon.
