AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person died after they were possibly hit by a vehicle on Interstate 35 near downtown Austin overnight, authorities said.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday on I-35 southbound, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. An adult died at the scene.
Southbound main lanes were closed for the investigation, according to Austin police, but the lanes are now open.
