CHICAGO – A man has died after being shot multiple times in North Lawndale Monday afternoon.
Chicago police said officers went to the 1300 block of South Springfield Avenue at around 12:20 p.m. to investigate a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a 34-year-old man near the street with a gunshot wound to his head and multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.
The man was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and Area Four Detectives are investigating.
