Lollapalooza Day 4: Fans, families out and about for festival's final day

US

CHICAGO – Lollapalooza is just a few hours away from being done and dusted for another year, but there’s still a whole lot of partying to pack in before the evening is over.

Like Day 3 of the festival, the intense heat didn’t stop festivalgoers from coming out and seeing the large variety of live music on Day 4.

“This week is Lollapalooza, the best in the world. Better than Coachella; better than Broccoli Fest; this is the top one,” said first time Lollagoer Suhail Abdul Wasi from Washington, D.C.

Although Suhail Abdul may be a rookie, he came with his brother Shabbaz, who’s been to the festival before.

“I was here years ago for Tyler, the Creator, and that was probably the best show I’ve ever been to,” Shabbaz said.

The brother are pumped for another night of fun, as are sisters Analie and Jaylyn, who are at Lollapalooza with their mother for all four days.

“I liked to see Chappell Roan,” Anelie said.

On the fourth and final day of the festival, Anelie and her family’s top priorities are seeing Pierce the Veil and Conan Gray, all in celebration of Jaylyn’s 16th birthday.

“I know I’m going to have a lot of fun,” Jaylyn exclaimed.

Final attendance numbers will be released either Sunday evening or Monday, but it’s estimated 115,000 people stepped through the gates each day.
