These Team USA athletes won medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics

PARIS (KXAN) — In total, 592 Team USA athletes are competing at the 2024 Paris Olympics, more than any other delegation.

The first medal for the United States was silver, claimed by Sarah Bacon and Kassidy Cook in the women’s synchronized 3m springboard diving event. The first gold medal was won by Jack Alexy, Hunter Armstrong, Caeleb Dressel and Chris Guiliano in the men’s 4x100m freestyle relay swimming event.
