Fatal SW Houston fire: 3 reported dead after fire at condo near Bissonnet Street

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — At least three people are reported to have died after an apartment fire early Sunday morning in southwest Houston, according to the Houston Fire Department.

HFD posted on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, that firefighters responded to a report of a fire at a condominium on 8110 Albacore near Bissonnet Street.

Firefighters began suppressing efforts to put out the flames. However, it was discovered that three people who had not been identified died.

Officials are asking drivers to avoid this area as emergency vehicles arrive.

There is no official report on how the fire may have started.
