May 2024: Which local restaurants received a perfect health inspection score?

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Public Health inspected exactly 500 locations in May, and 12.8% of those locations earned perfect scores.

APH inspected 598 locations in May 2023 with a 15.1% perfect rate. As of May, APH’s monthly average is 593 locations per month. The average perfect rate remained at 10.8%, unchanged from April.

Here are the local businesses with perfect health scores:

  • Pflugerville Donuts, at 1700 Grand Avenue Parkway, Austin
  • Delicioso Snack Shack, at 10900 East US 290 Highway, Manor
  • Placita’s Restaurant, at 5310 South Pleasant Valley Road, Austin
  • 717 Parmer, at 717 East Parmer Lane, Austin
  • Little Deli & Pizzeria, at 1804 Briarcliff Boulevard, Austin

Pflugerville Donuts has maintained its perfect health score since June 2022. Placita’s score has jumped around an average of 85.8 since 2021, dropping to 70 in July 2022.

These chains’ local stores also got perfect scores:

  • In-N-Out, at 1600 Town Center Drive, Pflugerville
  • Jimmy John’s, at 10900 Research Boulevard, Austin
  • sweetgreen, at 1900 Aldrich Street, Austin
  • Raising Canes, at 2408 FM 685 Road, Pflugerville
  • Voodoo Doughnut, at 5408 Burnet Road, Austin
  • Burger King, at 6000 FM 969 Road, Austin

As for the overall breakdown of scores, only 54 locations scored below 80.
