A baby is on the way for Cardi B.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper posted a glamorous maternity photoshoot to Instagram on Thursday morning. She revealed her bump in a very low-cut ruby-red evening gown with a matching fur coat amid the nighttime New York City skyline.
The photoshoot comes amid rumors that she and her husband, rapper Offset, are divorcing. She seemingly confirmed it in her caption.
“With every ending comes a new beginning!” she wrote. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!”
She went on to explain how this pregnancy reminded her that she can “have it all.”
“You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!” she continued. “It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and tests laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
Earlier in the day, Page Six reported that Cardi, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, had filed for divorce from Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus.
While the “Ric Flair Drip” rapper’s infidelity has reportedly been an issue within the relationship, the divorce is a result of the two “growing apart.”
“That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” a source told the outlet. “This is something she wants to do.”
Prior to the “I Like It” singer’s announcement, Offset confirmed the information in a comment on Instagram while slamming cheating allegations that he was out with his ex-girlfriend Pretty Redz.
“People really need to do the research… I’m at a public place gambling at a casino with a married 8-month pregnant woman,” he wrote.
Since the couple tied the knot in 2017, the ups and downs of their relationship have been highly publicized. She filed for divorce in 2020 only for the two to reconcile. In December 2023, on Instagram, she revealed she’d been “single for a minute.”
So far neither Cardi nor Offset have officially confirmed the divorce.
