Malachi Houston, 27, was arrested for attempted murder for allegedly attacking Isaac Egharevba, 60, about 11:45 a.m. June 8 in East New York.
The victim was operating a B99 bus and nearing Pitkin and Alabama Aves. when he was forced to make a detour, angering the attacker, the victim’s union said last month.
The angry rider stabbed the driver, police said.
Medics rushed the driver to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was treated for a deep cut between his neck and jaw.
The next day the NYPD released surveillance footage of the suspect and asked the public’s help identifying him.
