16 and Pregnant alum Autumn Crittendon died on Saturday (July 20), per TMZ. She was 27.

Citing sources with direct knowledge, the outlet reports that Crittendon passed away in Henrico County, Virginia, where her father discovered her unresponsive. Paramedics attempted CPR upon arrival, but were unable to save her.

According to TMZ’s sources, while her family is reportedly unsure of what led to her passing, Crittendon had been recently experiencing heartburn and was sick, and had wanted to visit a doctor. Crittendon also was diabetic and allegedly had issues with her kidney and blood pressure, per the outlet’s sources. The Virginia Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed to Us Weekly that her death is under investigation.

Her sister, Misty, reportedly shared the news on her Facebook on Sunday (July 21), but TMZ writes that the post has since been taken down. However, her profile picture as updated less than a day ago to a childhood picture, with the following hashtags: “#JusticeforAutumn #CrittendonStrong.”

Per Starcasm (via TV Insider), Misty had began her tribute as follows: “To my dearest baby sister, my twin, my rock, my babies mother, my go to, my world, the only one who got me and most of my childhood trauma, who endured it all with me, my Arnold.”

Fans of the MTV reality series likely recognize Crittendon from Season 5, which showcased the birth of her first child, Drake, whom she welcomed with her boyfriend at the time, also named Drake.

As noted by TMZ, this news arrives on the heels of fellow 16 and Pregnant alum Sean Garinger’s cause of death being revealed as blunt force injury to his head. Garinger, who appeared in Season 6B of the reality series, died in March at age 20.
