RHP Greysen Carter, Vanderbilt: Round 5, No. 152, Yankees
The Fairview graduate was 4-2 with a 6.58 ERA and 38 Ks in 18 games (four starts) for the Commodores this year.
RHP Grant Shepardson, Mountain Vista: Round 5, No. 155, Marlins
The Golden Eagles star who features a high-90s fastball was 4-3 with a 3.13 ERA in nine games this spring. He previously committed to play college ball at San Francisco.
LHP Ethan Sloan, Regis University: Round 8, No. 236, Tigers
The Cherokee Trail graduate was the Rangers’ closer the last two years; 3.96 ERA in 19 games and nine saves in ’24.
1B/3B Ben McLaughlin, Arkansas: Round 9, No. 284, Diamondbacks
The Golden graduate started at Hutchinson CC before transferring, and slashed .302/.447/.490 with 9 homers this year.
RHP Blake Shepardson, San Francisco: Round 11, No. 319, White Sox
The Mountain Vista graduate started at Regis University before transferring to USF; 7.80 ERA in 19 games this year.
RHP Trey Gregory-Alford, Coronado: Round 11, No. 322, Angels
The state’s Gatorade Player of the Year has a fastball sitting in the upper 90s; 1.84 ERA in 11 starts this spring. He previously committed to play for Virginia.
3B Sam Kulasingam, Air Force: Round 13, No. 377, Royals
A two-time Mountain West Player of the Year, the switch-hitter posted a career slash line of .377/.470/.598 for the Falcons.
RHP Nolan Sparks, University of Rochester: Round 13, No. 381, Cardinals
The Cherokee Trail graduate was a two-time Liberty League Pitcher of the Year; 2.25 ERA in 10 starts (two complete games) in ’24.
1B Cameron Sisneros, East Tennessee State: Round 14, No. 422, Cubs
The Heritage graduate started at Lamar CC before transferring to ETSU; mashed this year, hitting .369 with 23 homers and 86 RBIs.
RHP Blake Hammond, Santa Clara: Round 15, No. 436, Athletics
The Holy Family graduate was first team all-West Coast Conference this year after posting a 3.76 ERA in 16 games (five starts).
3B Jay Thomason, Air Force: Round 17, No. 518, Twins
This year’s co-Mountain West Player of the Year hit .358 with 21 homers, the same long ball tally as ’23, and had a .452 OBP.
LHP Ryan Ure, Oklahoma State: Round 19, No. 568, Giants
The Eaton graduate missed 2023 while coming back from Tommy John. This year, he had a 4.91 ERA in 3 2/3 innings pitched.
