A 5-year-old boy was found dead in a disheveled Bronx apartment, police and sources said Tuesday.
Cops were called to Deneil Timberlake’s home on Bassford Ave. near E. 182nd St. in Belmont just before 3:40 a.m. Sunday, cops said.
When they arrived, Deneil was unconscious and unresponsive. Medics rushed him to Saint Barnabas Hospital, but he could not be saved.
The boy did not have any obvious signs of trauma and the city Medical Examiner will determine his cause of death.
There were other children reportedly living in the home. The family has a history with the Administration for Children’s Services, PIX reported.
Deneil’s parents are cooperating with police, according to sources.
