One man dead, another wounded in NYC stabbing

One man was killed and another wounded in a Bronx stabbing Sunday, police said.

Officers responded to reports of two people stabbed on Grand Concourse near E. 181st St. in Fordham just after 3:30 p.m., cops said.

When police arrived, they found a 34-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest and a 31-year-old male with a stab wound to his torso.

Medics rushed both men to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where the older man died. His name hasn’t been released while police reach out to notify his family. The younger stabbing victim was expected to survive.

It wasn’t immediately clear what triggered the bloodshed.
