Missing Sacramento siblings likely dropped off in Southern California, police say

US

(FOX40.COM) — Sacramento Police said on Thursday evening that they believe “there is a potential” that two siblings who have been missing since Monday were dropped off “somewhere in Southern California.”

Police said siblings Athena and Mateo Lee, along with their father, Camron Lee, have been the subject of a search since the children’s mother, Angelica Bravo, was found dead in a Sacramento home on Monday.

The California Highway Patrol issued an Endangered Missing Advisory shortly before 5 p.m. on Thursday in connection with the children, their father, and a vehicle linked to them.

The alert was issued in the counties of Fresno, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, Merced, Orange and San Diego.

On Wednesday, police said that the vehicle, a gray Honda SUV with license plate number 9JUS091, had entered Mexico. Police had previously said that an Amber Alert was not issued in California because the vehicle was no longer in the state.

Police have established a tip line for the case, asking anyone with information to call 916-808-0560.
