NYPD: Man fatally stabbed in Times Square early Tuesday

Police say they’re investigating after a man was fatally stabbed in the early hours of in Times Square on Tuesday.

NYPD officials say officers were called to West 43rd Street just before 1 a.m. to the scene of an assault in progress.

There they found an unresponsive, 55-year-old man with a stab wound to his torso.

First responders transported him to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests and police say the investigation is ongoing.
