SAN MARTIN — Progress of a 3-acre brush fire in San Martin has been stopped, Cal Fire officials announced on social media.

The fire initially broke out near Monterey Road and California Avenue in San Martin, an unincorporated town in Santa Clara County, officials reported on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, at about 1 p.m. Sunday.
