Beep beep- grab the keys to the Jeep because Missy Elliot will be celebrating her birthday in Los Angeles before her back-to-back shows at Crypto.com Arena.
The “supersonic, hypnotic, funky fresh” bash is called Missy Elliot Presents Party on the Plaza: An Out of this World Experience and it’s being hosted by the Music Center and Gloria Molina Grand Park.
The event is July 10 at Jerry Moss Plaza at the Music Center and will feature live DJs and the “Work It” singer’s dancers will host an “Out of This World” dance challenge.
Organizers also promise a “special surprise that will have all eyes on the sky.”
It’ll be worth it to watch them all work it because it’s free. Guests can RSVP here.
Gates open at 7 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. guests will get an onstage welcome from Elliot herself. The dance party is set to begin at 7:45 p.m.
The party is ending at 9 p.m.
The four-time Grammys winner is currently headlining her first arena tour, titled “Out of This World — The Missy Elliott Experience.”
Singer Ciara, rapper Busta Rhymes and producer/rapper and longtime collaborator, Timbaland are also along for the ride.
The Missy Elliot Experience takes place at Crypto.com Arena in Downtown L.A. on July 11 and July 12.
