Margot Robbie is expecting her first child with husband of eight years Tom Ackerly.
The “Barbie” star, 34, was photographed Sunday in Lake Como, Italy, sporting a white crop top that showed off her baby bump. After photos were published by the Daily Mail, sources confirmed to People that the pair of powerhouse producers are expecting their first child.
Robbie and Ackerly, also 34, met in 2013 on the set of “Suite Française,” where she was in front of the camera and he worked as an assistant director. They tied the knot in Australia in December 2016.
Since then, they have grown the production company they co-founded, LuckyChap Entertainment, alongside Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara. The company has produced several films starring Robbie, including “Barbie,” “I, Tonya,” and “Birds of Prey.”
In an interview with the Times of London last month, Ackerly said that between work and marriage, he and Robbie spend “24 hours a day” together.
“It’s seamless,” he told the outlet. “We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing.” Ackerly said their biggest argument as a couple is over “whether [Australian sweets] Tim Tams or Penguins are better.”
