Elyria-Swansea house fire sends smoke plume over Denver metro

US

A residential structure fire in Denver’s Elyria-Swansea neighborhood sent out a plume of smoke that was visible across the area Monday afternoon.

Fire crews first received a call about the fire near Vine Street and East 47th Avenue just before 3 p.m. Monday, Denver Fire Department spokesperson J.D. Chism said.

The fire was first reported as a heavily involved house fire that spread to an additional structure, fire officials said in a post on X.

No injuries have been reported, Chism said.
