A Yucaipa man was arrested by deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department on allegations that he was uploading child pornography to the internet from his home.

On Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Department served a search warrant at the home of 23-year-old Isaac Ruiz on the 34100 bock of Wildwood Canyon Road.

Ruiz became the subject of an investigation after an online tip was made through the Los Angeles Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Investigators were eventually able to obtain a search warrant for his home, which was served Wednesday around 8:30 a.m.

During that search, investigators recovered “numerous cellular telephones and other electronics,” at least one of which was found to contain child pornography.

Ruiz was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino and is being held on $30,000 bail.

Jail records indicate he is due in court on Monday and is expected to be charged with possession and distribution of child pornography.

The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact SBSD Detective Andrade at 909-918-2305. Anonymous tips can be provided online or by calling 1-800-782-7463.
